TheHobbyist does not collect any personal information from visitors to this website. There are no user accounts, no sign-up forms, no contact forms that transmit data to us, and no analytics or tracking scripts running on this site.

Your web hosting provider (or CDN/server infrastructure) may retain standard server access logs — such as your IP address, the page requested, date and time, browser type, and referring URL. These logs are used solely for security and operational purposes and are not accessible to or processed by TheHobbyist in any individually identifiable way.

2. Google Fonts

This website loads fonts (Poppins and Inter) from Google's Fonts CDN at fonts.googleapis.com. When your browser fetches these fonts, your IP address is sent to Google's servers as part of a normal HTTP request.

TheHobbyist does not receive or store this data. Google may log font API requests in accordance with their own privacy policy. You can review Google's privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy.

3. Amazon Links

Some product pages on this website contain links to product listings on Amazon India (amazon.in). These are standard outbound links — not affiliate tracking links that set cookies on your device from our end.

When you click an Amazon link, you leave the TheHobbyist website and your interaction becomes subject to Amazon's privacy policy. Amazon may set cookies, track your browsing, and collect data as described in their policy at amazon.in/privacy-notice.

TheHobbyist does not receive any data about your Amazon activity, purchases, or browsing.

4. Software Downloads

Free software apps offered on this site (such as Bizzy Lite and HomeServer 2) are hosted on GitHub Releases or the respective product websites — not on TheHobbyist's servers. When you download a file, the download occurs directly from GitHub or the external host.

TheHobbyist does not collect your name, email address, IP address, or any other information as part of the download process. GitHub may log download requests in accordance with their privacy policy (GitHub Privacy Statement).

5. Contact by Email

If you choose to contact us by sending an email to amit@thehobbyist.in, we will receive your email address and the content of your message. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and do not share it with any third party.

We do not add your email address to any mailing list or marketing database.

6. Cookies

TheHobbyist does not set any cookies on your device. We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising, session management, or any other purpose.

As noted above, Google Fonts and Amazon may set their own cookies when you interact with those external services. TheHobbyist has no control over or access to any such cookies.

This website does not display any advertising. We do not use Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, or any other advertising or remarketing network. There are no third-party tracking scripts or analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) running on this site.

8. Children's Privacy

Many of our products — such as educational toys, puzzles, and board games — are designed for children. However, this website is intended to be used by parents, teachers, and adult shoppers, not by children directly.

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since we collect no personal data from any visitor, this applies equally to children.
