Most small businesses with partners still split profits by hand — and disputes follow

Many vegetable shops, grocery stores, and small retail businesses in India are run by two or three partners. At the end of each week or month, someone pulls out a notebook, looks at the cash, and tries to divide it according to each partner's share. The calculation is manual, prone to errors, and often leads to disagreements — especially when expenses and spoilage are factored in.

Campus Store solves this with a built-in partner profit share system. You set each partner's percentage once. The app then calculates each person's exact rupee share from the net profit — automatically, for any date range you choose. Today, this week, this month, or a custom period.

The calculation is based on the actual net profit recorded in Campus Store — sales revenue minus purchase costs. No more arguments about whether the numbers are right. The system is transparent, consistent, and printable for settlement meetings.

Percentages in. Rupee amounts out. Automatically.

This is what the partner profit share section looks like in Campus Store. You set the percentages once in Settings. On the dashboard, you select the date range and the rupee amounts appear automatically.

The business's retained share — the portion not assigned to any partner — is calculated automatically from the remaining percentage.

Hit Print and you get a formatted PDF settlement statement — ready for the next partner meeting.

1

Add Partners

Go to Settings in Campus Store. Add each partner by name with their ownership percentage — for example, 35%, 25%. The remaining percentage is automatically shown as the business's retained share.

2

Run Your Business Normally

Record purchases and sales as usual in Campus Store. The app tracks net profit in the background — no extra work needed for the partner share calculation.

3

Select a Date Range

Open the dashboard and select the period you want to settle — today, this month, or any custom date range. The partner profit share section appears alongside the P&L.

4

Print & Settle

Each partner's name, percentage, and exact rupee amount is shown. Hit the print button to generate a formatted PDF settlement statement — take it to your partner meeting.

Why small businesses in India need this

Manual profit splitting causes real problems — this feature prevents all of them.

No More Manual Calculations

Stop doing division on a piece of paper or a calculator app. Campus Store calculates every partner's rupee amount from the actual net profit figure — instantly, for any date range.

🤝

No More Disputes

When the numbers come from a consistent, transparent system — not a mental calculation by one partner — disagreements disappear. Both partners see the same data from the same source.

📄

Printable Settlement Statements

Generate a formal PDF statement for any period. Use it as a record of the settlement meeting — or hand a copy to each partner so everyone has documentation.

📅

Any Date Range

Calculate profit share for today, this week, this month, this quarter, or any custom start and end date. Useful for monthly settlements or for reviewing an entire year at once.

🔒

Based on Actual Net Profit

The share is calculated from the real net profit — sales revenue minus purchase costs — recorded in Campus Store. Not from cash in hand or rough estimates.

📴

Works Fully Offline

All data stays on your computer. No cloud account, no internet dependency. Your partnership financials remain private — not stored on any external server.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about the partner profit share feature in Campus Store.

How does partner profit sharing work in Campus Store?
You add each business partner in Settings with their percentage share — for example, Partner A at 35% and Partner B at 25%. On the dashboard, select a date range and the app automatically calculates each partner's exact rupee share of the net profit for that period. The remaining 40% shows as the business's retained share. You can print the full statement.
Can I change partner percentages if the ownership structure changes?
Yes. Open Settings and update the partner percentages at any time. The new percentages apply to calculations from that point forward. This is useful if partners agree to adjust their shares or if a partner is added or removed from the business.
Is there a limit on the number of partners I can add?
No hard limit. You can add as many partners as your business has. The system requires that the sum of all partner percentages does not exceed 100%. Whatever percentage is not assigned to partners is automatically shown as the business's retained share.
Is the partner profit share feature part of Campus Store, or sold separately?
It is fully built into Campus Store v2.2 — there is no separate purchase or upgrade needed. Any paid Campus Store license (1-Year or Lifetime) includes the partner profit share feature along with all other features.

Stop splitting profits by hand. Let Campus Store do it.
