Does Campus Store work without an internet connection?
Yes — completely. Campus Store is a fully offline Windows desktop application. All your data lives in a local SQLite database on your own computer. No internet connection is needed to use any feature, and your data is never sent to any server.
Which Windows versions are supported?
Campus Store requires Windows 10 version 1809 or later (64-bit), or Windows 11 (64-bit). It does not run on 32-bit Windows or on macOS / Linux. A single-device installer is provided as a standard Windows Setup (.exe).
What is the difference between a 1-Year and a Lifetime license?
A 1-Year License is valid for 12 months from the date you activate it. The app shows a 30-day expiry warning so you have time to renew. A Lifetime License never expires — pay once and use it indefinitely, including all future version updates on the same license key. Both license types are machine-locked to one device.
Can I move my license to a new computer?
Yes. Open Settings → Activation and click Free License. This deactivates Campus Store on the current machine and releases the key. You can then activate it on any other device using the same license key.
How many users can share one installation?
There is no limit on the number of user accounts per installation. You can create any number of Super Admin, Admin, and Shop Operator accounts. Each person logs in with their own username and password. The license covers one installation (one device), not one user.
Can I print receipts and reports?
Yes — every major section has a print button. You can print:
  • PDF sales receipts (two-copy: shop + customer)
  • Daily item-wise P&L and monthly date-wise summary
  • Inventory report with colour-coded stock levels
  • Purchase log and demand sheets
  • Partner profit-share statement
What happens to my data if I reinstall or update the app?
Your data is stored in a local database file at %AppData%\Campus Store\campus_store.db. Reinstalling or updating the app does not delete this file. As long as the file is in place, all your historical data is preserved. We recommend backing this file up regularly.
What is the Demand Tracking feature?
Demand Tracking lets you record what buyers order before you go to the market. An admin can approve confirmed demands. You can then print a consolidated demand sheet (quantities by item) to take to the supplier. Once stock is purchased, demands can be converted to purchase records in one click — no re-entry needed.
How does the Partner Profit Share work?
Add each business partner with their share percentage (e.g., 35%) under Settings → Partners. On the dashboard, select any date range and the app automatically calculates each partner's rupee share of the net profit for that period. The remaining percentage is shown as the business's retained share. You can print this as a settlement statement.
How do I get a license key?
After installing the app, open Settings → Activation and note your Machine ID. Email that Machine ID along with your preferred license type to amitsinghai.jain@gmail.com. You will receive a license key to enter in the same screen.
