Privacy Policy
Campus Store is a fully offline desktop application. It does not connect to the internet, does not collect personal data, and does not transmit any information to us or any third party.
1. Who We Are
Campus Store is a Windows desktop application developed and distributed independently. For questions, contact amitsinghai.jain@gmail.com.
2. Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any of the following:
- Personal information (names, phone numbers, email addresses)
- Financial data (sales figures, purchase prices, profit calculations)
- Usage data or analytics
- Device identifiers (other than a locally-generated Machine ID for license validation)
- Crash reports or error logs
3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
All data you enter into Campus Store — including purchases, sales, inventory, buyer names, and business settings — is stored exclusively in a local SQLite database on your computer at:
%AppData%\Campus Store\campus_store.db
This data never leaves your device. You own it entirely. You can back it up, move it, or delete it at any time.
4. License Activation
Campus Store uses a local Machine ID (generated from your device hardware) for license validation. This Machine ID is:
- Generated locally and displayed only within the app (Settings → Activation)
- Shared with us only if you choose to email it to request a license key
- Not transmitted automatically by the application
License keys are validated locally — no internet call is made during activation.
5. Third-Party Services
Campus Store does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data services. There are no SDKs, trackers, or external API calls within the application.
6. Children's Privacy
Campus Store is a business tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect any data from or about children.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you control retention entirely. You may delete individual records within the app or use the Purge Old Data feature (Settings → Purge Old Data) to remove transaction records older than two years. To delete all data, uninstall the application and delete the database file from the path above.
8. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes materially, a notice will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the application constitutes acceptance of any updated policy.
